Pizza Rounds

I made this delicious low calorie lunch today, and I wanted to share:




Start by toasting one 100 cal whole wheat sandwich round. Add 1/8 cup of 25 cal pizza sauce to each half. Sprinkle fat-free mozzarella cheese. Add shredded ham. Broil.

Enjoy this low calorie lunch, while getting your pizza fix!

Itchy Legs

Since I started working out, I have been having a problem with itchy legs when I'm exercising. They get all blotchy and red, and they itch like crazy!




It has definitely gotten better the more I've worked out, but it is so annoying!!

Do you know what causes this? I like to think it's the fat burning!! :)

Has this ever happened to you?

Weight Loss Wednesday - Week 2

I lost 2 lbs (1 being the lb i gained last week) this week.
I blame the measly loss on Mothers Day lunch - it was deeeelish!!

I did work out 4 days last week, which is excellent for me. I love our new gym!!

The good news is, I still feel very motivated. I have never been so out of shape in my entire life. And truthfully, if you don't get in shape after you have a baby, when are you going to do it?

Plus, I'm a bridesmaid in my best friend Jenna's wedding in December, and the dresses are super cute one shoulder, and I'd like to look halfway decent! Haha!!

Hopefully I will have even better news next week!!

Weight Loss Wednesday - Week 1

So... I'm embarrassed to say that Week 1 was a flop.

I gained 1 pound.

I tried WW online, and I have to say, I really dislike the new Points Plus system. Now, instead of points being based on calories, they are based on carbs and fat. It is much more difficult to "guess on the go" how many points a food item is. And this busy mom needs simple and fast!! So I cancelled my WW account, and now I'm counting calories.

I did go to the gym...once. :(

So this week is a new start, and I plan on having good news next week!

Weight Loss Wednesdays

After weeks of putting it off, I have finally decided to start working on getting the rest of this baby weight off, and continue to work on reaching my goal weight.

I gained 30 lbs with my pregnancy. I lost 20 lbs in the first 2 weeks. Here we are 4 weeks later, and I still have 6 lbs left to my pre-pregnancy weight, and it's just not going anywhere!

To reach my weight loss goals, I joined Weight Watchers Online, and I also joined a new gym.

I decided that I HAVE to blog about my weight loss journey, mainly because I need to hold myself accountable.

My goals:
Total weight loss: 29 lbs
Weight loss to pre-pregnancy weight: 6 lbs

Here's hoping for a successful journey!!
